Collection: Old Devices Powering USB-Type C to DC Jack Adapter

Allows you to charge old devices (laptops, routers, monitors) from modern USB-C chargers or powerful Power Banks.

How it works:

  • PD-trigger: Inside the adapter is a chip that "requests" the charger to output the required voltage (usually 19V or 20V instead of the standard 5V)
  • Connector: The output is a round plug ("pin") that fits a specific device model

What's important to check:

  • Plug size: Must exactly match your device's jack (e.g., 5.5x2.5 mm)
  • Charger power: The USB-C power supply must deliver the same or more Watts (W) than the device requires
  • PD support: Your charger must support the Power Delivery protocol

This is a way to get rid of a pile of old power adapters and use one modern charger for everything.
