The combination of lenses and eyepieces supplied in the kit provides magnification of up to 640x. When using the Barlow lens, you can smoothly zoom the image, obtaining a maximum magnification of 1280x. The monocular attachment has a convenient tilt of 45º and freely rotates in the horizontal plane by 360º. This allows several participants to take turns observing without moving the microscope in space.
The microscope is equipped with two LED illuminators. Transmitted light is used to observe transparent objects, reflected light is used for opaque three-dimensional objects, using two lamps simultaneously can be useful when observing translucent samples. Unlike many other models, the reflected light illuminator of this microscope moves together with the stage, which ensures correct, constant, uniform illumination of the object under observation.
The movable stage is equipped with clamps for fixing the slide or sample. Additionally, its design allows it to be equipped with a vernier (not included) for more precise positioning of the sample. Despite the lack of fine focusing, the coarse focusing flywheel ensures the smoothest and most precise movement of the stage along the vertical axis.
