This standard regulates the requirements for sleeping bags and confirms compliance with the specified temperature conditions, dimensions and weight on the labels. The European standard in relation to the American one guarantees higher thermal insulation properties of the sleeping bag. According to this standard, "T Max" defines the temperature at which the average man can sleep in an unzipped sleeping bag without excessive sweating. "T Comfort" defines the temperature at which the average woman can sleep comfortably for 8 hours in a relaxed position without waking up from the cold. "T Limit" defines the temperature at which the average man can sleep comfortably for 8 hours in a position that helps retain heat without waking up from the cold. "T Extreme" defines the minimum temperature at which a sleeping bag protects the average woman from hypothermia for 6 hours without providing comfortable sleep. Features of care, washing and storage :

• Hand washing or machine washing on a delicate cycle is recommended, at a water temperature not exceeding 40°C, using delicate washing products.
• The sleeping bag must be kept dry during storage. Long-term exposure to moisture gradually reduces the effectiveness of the materials and exposes them to destruction. It is recommended to dry the product in large-volume dryers at a temperature no higher than 25 °C, at room temperature in well-ventilated rooms or outdoors in places where there is no direct sunlight, hanging the sleeping bag by the loops. Before drying, it is advisable to shake and straighten the sleeping bag. Drying near open heat sources and heating devices (fires, burners, stoves, heaters, batteries) is not allowed.
• When the sleeping bag is not used for a long time, it is recommended to store it in an unfolded suspended state. A folded or rolled sleeping bag loses its waterproof and thermal insulation properties during long-term storage in a folded state. For a short time, the sleeping bag can easily be in a compression bag without losing its properties. Do not roll or fold the sleeping bag when packing it in a compression bag, try to fill the compression bag with the sleeping bag chaotically. During the hike, try not to tighten the compression straps of the cover too tightly.
