The Vango Assynt 200 Dark Moss is a unique all-season two-person tent. The lightweight, compact and extremely stable frame made of pre-curved Yunan Eco Alloy aluminum arcs intersecting at two points helps to set up the tent in a few minutes and increases resistance to wind and snow loads. An outer awning is attached to the frame itself, which will keep the inner tent dry when setting up in the rain. The interior space of the asymmetric Assynt 200 tent allows two tourists to comfortably settle in, as: at the head - wider and higher, at the feet - narrower and lower. There is no feeling of tightness in the head and neck area. This tent also has a vestibule, which solves the problem of where to leave shoes, outerwear and equipment. The outer awning is made of Protex® RS fabric - a lightweight and durable material that confidently withstands difficult weather conditions. The entrances to the inner tent are partially equipped with a mosquito net , which provides additional air flow and protects against unwanted insects. Assynt 200 is ideal for transporting in a trekking backpack or on a bicycle rack. This tent model has been tested for fire resistance of materials and weather conditions according to the International Standard ISO5912 and the European Safety Standard EN5912.

Protex® RS is a lightweight and very durable material developed exclusively for Vango that can withstand harsh weather conditions. The material is water resistant to a hydrostatic pressure of 5,000 mm H2O. The fabric has a Ripstop weave, which increases the strength by 13% compared to previously used materials. Additionally, the material has a special treatment that prevents combustion. 
The hydrostatic pressure indicator for determining the resistance of a material to water penetration corresponds to an indicator of 6000 mm Hg for a floor.
The tent fabric has a factory treatment with a fire-retardant mixture in accordance with the European safety standard - EN5912. The fabric, impregnated with a special agent, slows down and limits the spread of flames. It also significantly reduces toxic fumes and smoke emission during combustion. Fire-retardant mixtures are harmless to human health, environmentally friendly and non-toxic. 
All seams of the bottom and awning of the tent are sealed with a special tape, thus guaranteeing protection from moisture penetration in rainy weather. 
The durable carry bag features compression straps and a wide opening for quick, easy and compact packing of the tent. 
Yunan Eco Alloy - tent arc from one of the leaders in the production of aluminum folding sections - the Korean company Yunan. Aluminum alloy 7001-T6 is a durable, elastic, lightweight material, resistant to corrosion. The company adheres to the principle of environmentally friendly production of folding.-
The inner tent is attached to the outer tent in such a way that they can be set up and taken down at the same time, which significantly saves setup time and allows the inner tent to remain dry during setup in the rain.
The frame arches are pre-bent in the shape of Gothic vaults, thus providing greater height and useful internal volume of the inner tent.

The awning design provides two separate entrances-access to each door of the inner tent. This is very convenient both in terms of access to things in the vestibules, and in terms of opening / closing certain entrances to improve ventilation or increase resistance to wind loads. At the same time, the vestibule doors can be completely rolled up and secured at the top, opening full access to the doors of the inner tent.
