Description

Being a logical continuation of the 190 series, the Optika B-290 microscopes are implemented as fully professional devices with all the necessary attributes. Compared to the 190 series, they are equipped with improved and more powerful LED illumination, an innovative system for moving an enlarged stage, a fully adjustable Abbe condenser and eyepieces with an extended field of view. Microscopes of this series are equipped exclusively with professional plan achromatic objectives and allow using not only oil but also water as an immersion liquid, with virtually no loss in resolution quality. Control of materials and the production process meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 quality system. And at the same time, the cost is maintained at the level of a high-quality student microscope. Microscopes have a 10-year warranty!

All Optika SRL products are made in Italy. Optika microscopes are developed, manufactured and assembled in the small town of Ponteranica (Bergamo province). Each microscope is accompanied by an individual serial number indicated on the body and in the warranty card, as well as a mark on the final quality control. All products comply with the basic requirements of the relevant European EU directives and European Union standards.

Fluorescence (luminescent) microscopy is based on the ability of some substances to luminesce, i.e. glow when illuminated with invisible ultraviolet or blue light. The microscope is equipped with a special fluorescent LED source that directs light to the object of observation through a complex system of filters and mirrors. The advantage of the LED source over outdated mercury-quartz, mercury and halogen lamps is undeniable. In addition to their compact size and longer service life, LED lamps do not have a start-up delay and turn on instantly. The fluorescence method has a number of advantages: quick preparation of preparations, colored glow, high contrast, the ability to study transparent and opaque objects, etc.

Optical resolution largely depends on the correct illumination. Modern microscope optics are so perfect that it is difficult to invent something revolutionary new, while the leap in the development of LED technologies opens up wide opportunities in microscopy. Optika presents the next step in improving lighting - professional subject LED illumination X-Led3 . A highly efficient 3.6W LED creates the necessary luminous flux for full illumination of contrast samples at maximum magnification (equivalent to a 50W halogen lamp). The LED is combined with a reflector of complex geometry and a specially designed optical lens, which allows to significantly improve the intensity, homogeneity and direction of the produced light. Unlike traditional halogen lamps, the luminous flux obtained when using the X-Led3 system has a bright white glow with a color temperature of 6300K, which corresponds to natural daylight. Thus, the image is devoid of excessively yellow coloring from the light of a halogen lamp. At the same time, the LED is extremely economical compared to a halogen lamp of similar brightness, both in terms of energy consumption (it consumes 90% less energy) and in terms of service life (65,000 hours compared to 1,500 hours of operation).

Planachromat is a lens with corrected field curvature, chromatic aberration and chromatic difference in magnification. This design allows for the production of lenses of different magnifications with equally well-corrected aberrations using the same scheme. Such lenses produce a sharp and clear image across the entire field and are ideal for microphotography. In addition, wide-field eyepieces work great with such lenses.

In the IOS infinity-corrected optical system, the light waves that form the image of the object pass from the objective to the tube lens in a strictly parallel beam. This optical scheme offers two main advantages. First, it allows the addition of special optical components (polarizers, spectrum splitters, vertical illuminators) between the objective and the tube without changing the optical path of light. Consequently, the magnification and parfocal properties of the objectives do not change, and no additional aberrations are introduced from the correcting elements. Second, the residual geometric aberrations of the objective are corrected by the optical tube lens. The image is clear and has the correct ratio of geometric dimensions. The microscope can be modified for the required studies without loss of image quality.

The main advantage of this model is its wide application possibilities for various microbiological studies using the fluorescence method in reflected light and the bright field method in transmitted light. It is due to the infinity correction system of the lenses used in this microscope that it becomes possible to obtain the highest quality image without additional aberrations introduced by the filters of the fluorescence block.

The two-position fluorescence unit allows for studies using the fluorescence B and fluorescence G methods. Each of these methods is possible due to the presence of two filter systems in the fluorescence unit.

Recommended fluorochromes:

Fluorescence B: Acridine Yellow, Acridine Orange, Auramine, DiO, DTAF, FITC, GFP, YFP, etc.

The Optika B-293PL 40x-1000x Trino microscope is equipped with plan achromatic objectives, which classifies it as a higher class of optical instruments and allows for fairly detailed biological research, while obtaining the highest quality images and photographs of samples.

The ergonomic design of the body is made in such a way as to provide maximum convenience of microscope control, shift the center of gravity to the base of the microscope and thus make the device more stable. A special hole provides a convenient grip when carrying the microscope, and allows you to observe the sample, being in a position behind the microscope, which is very convenient during focusing. Additionally, the convenience of observation is ensured by the tilt of the binocular attachment at an angle of 30º. The fully rotating attachment allows you to observe through the microscope from any convenient position, without changing the position of the device in space.

The LED illumination of the X-Led3 microscope is smoothly adjusted in brightness using a brightness regulator and in intensity using an iris aperture diaphragm. A wide 45-mm filter is placed in the aperture of the illuminator. A movable centerable Abbe condenser allows for precise transfer of the light projection to the plane of the observed sample, and if it is necessary to change the microscopy method to dark-field, it can easily be replaced with a dark-field condenser.

The trinocular configuration of the microscope allows for equally comfortable observation and documentation of research results on camera. The tube for installing a digital camera is smoothly adjustable in height, which allows, depending on the focal length of the camera, to adjust the height of the tube so that the image displayed on the screen by the digital camera is equally sharp with the image in the eyepieces.

The stage is equipped with an innovative transverse belt drive system Innovative Belt Drive , due to which the movement occurs as smoothly as possible without micro jerks. The stage is equipped with a specimen guide and a vernier. The height of the stage is adjusted using the screws of macro and micrometer focusing. The design provides a disk for controlling the tension of the focusing screws, which allows you to fix the microscope focused on the sample if necessary. This same feature allows for greater precision in focusing.

The microscope provides a wide range of magnifications from 40x to 1000x. The 40x and 100x objectives have a spring-loaded design that prevents damage to the objective or sample when the stage is raised excessively. Using the 100x OIL/WATER objective, you can forget about tedious cleaning of the optics from oil and dust, since water can be used instead of oil as an immersion liquid, with virtually no loss of resolution. To increase resolution at high magnifications, the condenser can also be used as an immersion condenser. The surface of the tubes is covered with a black anodized Type III coating that reliably resists abrasion and corrosion on the outside and does not allow unwanted reflections on the inside.

Designed for more in-depth laboratory research in various fields of science. The microscope optics provide high-quality images of the observed samples. Recommended for medical and scientific laboratories.
