New for 2021! The Ferrino Lightent 2 Pro tent belongs to the Light Line series of ultra-light tents. This model has an increased waterproofness of the tent bottom up to 8000 mm of water column and is suitable not only for summer, but also for spring-autumn hikes, when a lot of precipitation is possible. The inner tent consists entirely of a mosquito net and is pre-attached to the outer awning for quick installation. The light gray outer awning will heat up in the sun much less than models with a dark awning. The tunnel design of this tent provides minimal weight with a large volume of internal space, which is facilitated by pre-curved aluminum arches. Setting up such a tent takes little time and requires a minimum of space. Despite the fact that the tent is double-layered and has a vestibule, its assembled weight is only 2.1 kg. The outer awning has a water resistance of 3000 mm of water column. st., which is quite enough to keep the tent dry inside during rain. The effective Camera Air ventilation system is supplemented by a side ventilation window, which will help to avoid condensation. The tent cover has compression straps, which allows achieving very compact dimensions of the packed tent.
Peculiarities:
- The main advantages of a tunnel tent with a side vestibule are the minimum installation area with the most efficient use of the tent's internal volume. In addition, this design is lighter than others and requires a minimum of time for installation.
- The tent poles are pre-bent to provide more internal volume and are painted in different colors for easy identification during tent assembly. The paint is applied by anodizing.
- The inner tent is attached to the poles using sleeves through which they are threaded.
- The entrance to the tent is equipped with a mosquito net.
- The design includes two ventilation windows located at the ends of the tent. The Camera Air ventilation system creates a large air chamber between the outer awning and the inner tent, which facilitates free air circulation around the inner tent. On the one hand, this eliminates the appearance of condensation inside, and on the other hand, air is the best heat-insulating layer.
- The material of the awning and the floor of the inner tent has triple reinforcement at points with an expected increased load. The reinforcement is made in the form of an additional layer of high-strength fabric.
- The quick fixing system of the guy ropes is achieved by using specially shaped fittings. The guy rope is stretched and fixed in just one movement.
- There is a large pocket inside the tent for small items.
- The tent is equipped with a hook for hanging a camping lantern inside.
- The tent cover is equipped with two compression straps on fastex, has sewn-in instructions for setting up the tent and a side pocket for separate placement of pegs and a repair kit.
- The aluminium pegs have a hexagonal profile, which increases bending resistance and improves fixation on the ground.
