The updated Hawke Panorama scopes combine a new modern compact design with the best features of the previous series, such as the widest possible field of view, a durable monolithic waterproof housing, low-profile adjustment turrets, fully multi-coated optics and the popular 1/2 Mil Dot rangefinder reticle with dual illumination etched on a glass plate. The scopes are highly resistant to impact loads, which allows them to be installed on all rifles without power restrictions. These scopes are able to withstand any recoil.
The main characteristic of an optical sight is the quality of the optics themselves. The color rendering of Hawke Panorama sights is highly consistent with reality, which is achieved thanks to a special 16-layer proprietary coating applied to all optical surfaces (achromatic lens, eyepiece and reversing system). With a wide-angle optical system, this sight allows you to get a field of view 20% larger than standard optics, which simplifies the process of aiming even at small targets at long distances, and keeping the target in the field of view. Observing, targeting, aiming and shooting becomes even more comfortable and simple.
The shockproof body is made in the form of a monolithic aluminum tube, in which all optical elements are securely fixed. The design copes well with both the multi-vector recoil of spring-piston pneumatics and the recoil of large-caliber rifled and smooth-bore firearms. The body is covered with a double-sided matte black anodizing. The coating does not wear off on the outside and prevents scratches. The coating on the inside diffuses light and does not allow glare and reflections to spread. The zoom ring has a rubber profiled knurling, making the process of changing the magnification even more convenient and accurate. The body is sealed, protected from water ingress and filled with dry nitrogen to prevent fogging of the optics from the inside when the temperature changes. The lens and eyepiece have a thread that allows you to attach additional accessories, such as sun hoods and flip-up covers.
The scopes have a pre-set parallax setting of 100 yards at the factory. For quick focusing on the target, the Fast Focus focusing system is provided on the eyepiece.
Low-profile vertical and horizontal adjustment drums are equipped with a special beryllium spring, preventing the aiming grid from "drifting". The drums have a click value of 0.25 MOA and now rotate almost smoothly, but the clicks are very clearly audible. They are made similar to tactical ones, which allows you to enter adjustments during shooting. At the same time, they are hidden under low aluminum covers. Next to the adjustment drums there is a rheostat for adjusting the brightness and switching the color of the aiming mark illumination.
10x 1/2 Mil Dot IR - a convenient universal grid for the most accurate aiming at various distances. The main difference from the usual Mil Dot aiming mark is that there are additional intersections marking half a mil. All components of this grid have strictly regulated dimensions, the distances between all elements are also regulated. Thanks to this, it is not a problem to determine the distance to the target or the size of the target, taking the correct windage correction and determining the trajectory of the bullet. This 1/2 Mil Dot is correct at 10x magnification. For other magnifications, the linear and angular dimensions are determined by interpolation or according to special tables. The free ballistic calculator X-ACT will allow you to customize the grid for a specific weapon and type of projectile.

A significant advantage is that the grid is engraved on a glass plate. This provides almost 100% protection of the grid from the destructive effect of multi-vector recoil of spring-piston pneumatics. In addition, all elements of the grid are thin enough and do not block the target.
An important point is the presence of a two-color illumination of the aiming grid. The red illumination is brighter and is more convenient to use in the daytime and evening. At night, the blue color, which is less irritating to the eyes, provides clear contours of the aiming mark and does not illuminate the observation plane. Each of the colors has 5 degrees of brightness.
