Description
The Hawke LRF Vantage series is in no way inferior in functionality and optical quality to the manufacturer's premium line of laser rangefinders. Hawke LRF Vantage rangefinders combine compactness, multifunctionality, high-quality optics, waterproofness, and nitrogen filling of the case. The only difference is the lack of display backlighting. These are some of the most functional rangefinders, with 5 main modes for measuring distance and angle, which are most in demand by hunters. In addition to functionality, it is worth noting the high accuracy over the entire measurement distance and excellent centering of the laser beam.
Measurement modes:
STANDARD - for measuring the actual distance to an object in space, without taking into account the slope. In this mode, additional icons are not displayed on the display
RAIN - for measuring the real distance to an object in space during rain, without taking into account the slope. Ignoring the interference of falling raindrops. The measurement distance must exceed 30 m (33 yards). In this mode, the cloud icon is displayed
HUNT - for measuring the real distance to an object in space during hunting, without taking into account the slope. Ignoring the interference that occurs when the laser beam passes through grass and small bushes. This mode is useful for measuring the distance to fairly large targets, such as a deer moving among bushes, trees and grass. In this mode, a deer icon in a circle is displayed.
HD (Horizontal Distance) - for measuring the distance to an object horizontally (projection of the real distance onto a horizontal surface). It is very useful that in this mode the real distance to the object and its projection onto the horizontal axis are simultaneously displayed. This mode is necessary to take into account the trajectory of the bullet when hunting in the mountains, when shooting at a large angle to the horizon. In this mode, an angle icon with the inscription HD is displayed
ANGLE - for measuring the angle between the line aimed at the target and its projection onto the horizontal plane on which the rangefinder is located. It is very useful that together with the angle display, the real distance to the object in space is shown on the display. In this mode, the angle icon is displayed.
SCAN - a mode of continuous scanning of the real distance to objects, when moving the rangefinder in space (convenient for determining the distance to small objects, various parts of extended objects located at an angle). Can be used in each of the modes.
BRIGHTNESS - This mode is used to change the brightness of the OLED display backlight. The display has 6 brightness levels for ease of use during the day and night. In this mode, all icons are displayed on the display
