All Optika SRL products are made in Italy. In the small town of Ponteranica (Bergamo province) Optika microscopes are developed, manufactured and assembled. Each microscope is accompanied by an individual serial number indicated on the body and in the warranty card, as well as a mark on the final quality control. All products comply with the basic requirements of the relevant European EU directives and European Union standards.
LED illumination: Correct color rendering of the image is one of the two most important factors in light microscopy. The Optika LAB 20 7x-45x Bino Stereo Zoom microscope is equipped with powerful LED illumination. The upper illuminator consists of a modern point SMD LED and a lens, which provide a correctly directed focused beam of light. The lower illumination is equipped with a similar LED and a diffusing disk for observation in transmitted light. The LEDs have a color temperature of 6300K, which corresponds to natural daylight. Thus, the image is devoid of excessively yellow coloring from incandescent light. The service life of the LEDs is 65,000 hours, and the energy consumption is significantly lower than that of spiral illuminators.

Optika LAB series microscopes are compact and transportable, as for professional laboratory devices. Their design allows you to install the mount for the trinocular attachment with an illuminator in two positions (for the purpose of the most compact layout, the factory setting fixes the mount in the lower position). In cases of extreme necessity, the setting can be changed independently.
A distinctive feature of the Optika LAB 30 7x-45x Trino Stereo Zoom microscope is the presence of a zoom, with which you can continuously change the magnification of the microscope in the range from 7 to 45 times.
The trinocular design of the microscope allows for equally comfortable observation and documentation of research results on camera.
Separate controls for the upper and lower illumination allow for smooth brightness adjustments and the use of each illumination both separately and together in any brightness variation. Upper LED illuminator with variable beam angle.
The lenses are reliably protected from dust and mechanical damage by a plastic skirt. The surfaces of the eyepieces and the tube are covered with a black anodized Type III coating, which reliably resists abrasion and corrosion.
For comfortable observation, the microscope is equipped with a pair of soft rubber eyecups that allow you to fix your eyes at the required distance from the eyepieces and at the same time block unwanted side illumination. Additionally, the convenience of observation is ensured by tilting the binocular attachment at an angle of 45º. The increased pupil removal of the eyepieces is simply necessary for comfortable observation for people wearing glasses.
