The key difference of the Hawke Frontier 30 1-6x24 (L4A IR Dot) optical sight is the precision quality of the optics, typical only for the flagship line of Hawke sights. This model is undoubtedly one of the best among the sights for driven hunts, installed on rifled weapons of large calibers. It is important that the minimum magnification of the sight is equal to one, which provides a large field of view, facilitates eye adaptation when aiming, and therefore makes it possible to shoot at minimum distances. The sight has a 30-mm monolithic, nitrogen-filled body, characterized by exceptional shock resistance and waterproofness, which allows you to install it without restrictions on any type of hand-held small arms, regardless of the size and nature of the recoil. The classic hunting reticle is located in the second focal plane, it has a dot illumination in the central position, and, thanks to optics with a high degree of enlightenment, ensures effective aiming at dusk and dawn.

For an optical sight, one of the main characteristics is undoubtedly the quality of the optics themselves. An achromatic lens with full multi-layer high-intensity enlightenment (21 layers) minimizes optical distortions and transmits a clear and bright image at any magnification.

The shockproof body is made in the form of a monolithic aluminum tube, in which all optical elements are securely fixed. The design copes well with both the multi-vector recoil of spring-piston pneumatics and the recoil of large-caliber rifled and smooth-bore firearms. The body is covered with a double-sided matte black coating using anodizing. The coating does not wear off on the outside and prevents scratches. The coating on the inside diffuses light and does not allow glare and reflections to spread. The zoom ring has a stylish and at the same time convenient profiled knurling for easy changing of magnifications. The body is sealed, protected from water ingress and filled with dry nitrogen to prevent fogging of the optics from the inside when the temperature changes.

The scopes have a pre-set parallax setting of 100 yards at the factory. For quick focusing on the target, the Fast Focus focusing system is provided on the eyepiece.

The elevation and windage adjustment turrets have a low profile and a click value of 0.25 MOA. They allow easy adjustments, both with a special tool and with your fingers. At the same time, to protect them from the external environment, the turrets are still hidden under aluminum screw-on caps.

L4A IR Dot is a classic hunting reticle. The thick side lines allow you to track a large moving target and constantly keep it in the field of aiming shot, while the thin internal lines allow precise fixation of the sight on smaller areas of the target. The central dot with red backlighting is for a quick and accurate shot in conditions of reduced visibility or lack of time for long aiming.
