Hawke Digiscope Adapter ( Frontier ED ) - a special adapter for connecting Hawke Frontier ED spotting scopes to SLR cameras.
With the Hawke Digiscope Adapter ( Frontier ED ), you can use the optics of a spotting scope as a lens for a DSLR camera, thereby obtaining significant magnifications of your images. Using a special T-ring (as a rule, different rings are required for cameras of different manufacturers) and the Hawke Digiscope Adapter ( Frontier ED ), a DSLR camera can be attached to Hawke Frontier ED spotting scopes and used for digiscoping (shooting through a spotting scope).
The Hawke Digiscope Adapter ( Frontier ED ) has a triple clamp on one end for attaching to a spotting scope, and a standard thread on the other end for attaching to a bayonet T-ring that fits a specific type of SLR camera. Use the T-ring that fits your camera.
Focusing and changing the magnification is done by means of the focuser and zoom lens of the telescope. The required focal length is also set using the retractable locking ring of the adapter.
