Description
The new Vantage series of optical sights embodies the best characteristics of Hawke optics: ease of use, reliable design and affordable price. Thanks to the monolithic aluminum body, these sights are now even more resistant to powerful recoil and are recommended for installation on firearms and air rifles of any caliber. Hawke Vantage optical sights with parallax adjustment on the lens perfectly meet the expectations of owners of powerful air rifles. The build quality of the sight, durability and decent optics will allow you to reveal the full potential of air guns as high-precision weapons. The waterproof, nitrogen-filled body of the sight is anodized with a durable matte coating. Thus, Hawke Vantage sights are designed for a long service life under loads even in difficult weather and operating conditions, regardless of whether they are installed on air guns or firearms. Hawke Vantage is a new quality standard in its price category.

The main characteristic of any sight is the quality of optics. Hawke Vantage sights are optical devices with high quality optics. All optical surfaces (achromatic objective, eyepiece and reversing system) are covered with 11 layers of anti-reflective coating, which greatly reduces light loss during reflection and provides high resolution of the target image.
The shockproof monolithic body is made of lightweight and durable aluminum alloy. Both the outside and the inside of the body are anodized with a matte black coating that does not wear off, does not scratch, and provides excellent performance characteristics. All moving parts of the body have a profiled knurling, so adjusting the sight even in thick winter gloves will not be a problem.
The body is sealed, protected from water ingress and filled with dry nitrogen to prevent fogging of the optics from the inside due to temperature changes.
Parallax adjustment is performed by a wide ring on the objective in the range from 9 meters to infinity. The objective is spring-loaded by a powerful spring, which is a mechanism for compensating for recoil. For quick focusing on the target, a Fast Focus focusing system is provided on the eyepiece.
Low-profile vertical and horizontal adjustment drums are equipped with a special beryllium spring, preventing the aiming grid from "drifting". The drums have a click value of 0.25 MOA. They are hidden under low aluminum covers.
The 30/30 or Duplex reticle is one of the most famous, simple and popular. It can be used to solve several problems at once. Thick outer lines make it easy to "lead" a large target and shoot at it offhand. Thin lines allow for precise aiming at a small target. The thin crosshairs of the 30/30 reticle do not obscure the target and do not blend in with the dark background. The distance between opposite thin lines of the reticle corresponds to 30 inches at 100 yards at 4x magnification, which also allows for an approximate estimate of the distance to the target . For other magnifications, the range values are calculated by interpolation or using the X-ACT ballistic calculator, located on the manufacturer's website .
You can visually evaluate the ease of use of the aiming reticle directly on the manufacturer's website.
