Description
The Bresser Messier AR-152L/1200 EXOS-2 GOTO telescope is a large-aperture refractor with high-quality optics that can be recommended to both trained observers and novice astronomers, since the computer guidance system that this telescope is equipped with takes over the search for an object and does not require special knowledge or experience. The telescope will be especially good for planetary observations with high magnification. At the same time, this refractor will also show itself well when observing Deep Sky objects.
The flagship line of Messier telescopes from the German manufacturer Bresser is distinguished by high build quality, precision fitting of optical elements and the use of only high-quality materials. There is no compromise in quality and price. All units, parts, and mirrors of the telescope are made with precision accuracy, which provides the best optical and operational characteristics in their class. Bresser Messier telescopes are highly appreciated by experienced amateur astronomers.

The main purpose of the Bresser Messier AR-152L/1200 EXOS-2 StarTracker GOTO telescope is to observe planets, as well as galaxies, nebulae and other faint objects in deep space. With its help, you can see extended nebulae such as the Orion Nebula, bright galaxies such as the Whirlpool in the constellation Canes Venatici, many planetary nebulae, and the total number of potentially accessible objects will be more than one thousand.
The German EXOS-2 StarTracker GOTO mount is quite rigid (it can easily withstand a tube load of up to 13 kg) and is equipped with motors on both axes, which provide 8 different speeds for aiming at an object. The object is selected and the telescope is controlled using the StarTracker computer controller, which is made in the form of a hand-held remote control with buttons and a display. The mount is powered by 8 1.5 V type "D" batteries, which are installed in a suspended battery block, or by means of a separately purchased adapter connected to any 220 V AC source, or a 12 V DC source, including the vehicle's on-board network. The mount is also equipped with an optical pole finder, which allows you to prepare the telescope as accurately as possible to begin observations.
The StarTracker autoguidance system stores information on more than 100,000 astronomical objects: planets, galaxies, nebulae, stars, which is conveniently divided into several subgroups (Solar system, constellations, catalog of known stars, Messier catalog, NGC catalog, IC catalog, Sh2 catalog, catalog of bright stars, SAO catalog, objects entered by the user). If you have difficulty finding the object of interest through the finder - just select it in the computer guidance system, and the mount will do everything itself: calculate the location of the object and direct the telescope with maximum accuracy. One of the nice little things - installed red LEDs, which make it possible to use the controller remote control as an astro-flashlight.

The Bresser Messier AR-152L/1200 EXOS-2 StarTracker GOTO telescope can be used for astronomical photography. The tube's mounting clamp has a screw on which almost any camera equipped with a standard tripod mount can be mounted. In this way, you can take wide-angle pictures of star fields, the Milky Way, the brightest galaxies and nebulae. In addition, the 2'' to 1.25" eyepiece adapter has a thread for connection to a T-ring, allowing you to use the telescope as a large lens for a SLR camera, devoid of chromatic aberration that distorts color rendition. The telescope kit also includes a SuperPlossl SPL26 mm long-focus eyepiece and a large optical viewfinder.
High image quality is guaranteed not only by the robust design, but also by the excellent quality of the coated optics. All elements of the optical designs of Bresser Messier telescopes are made of special glass, which is coated with an antireflective coating in several layers. This is what allows obtaining bright and clear images of observed objects with correct color rendition, both during visual observations and during astrophotography.
