The National Geographic Universal 20x/200x Children's Microscope, upon closer inspection, will reveal itself as a rather functional and interesting device that can be used not only as a microscope for observing biological micro and macro samples, but also as a webcam. The microscope allows you to take and save photos and videos with a resolution of 1.3 MP. Observations can be carried out by fixing the microscope stationary, or by pointing it with your hand at the part of the object of interest.
It is very convenient that the microscope can be used both as a classic device with a stationary stage, transmitted and reflective illumination, a coarse focusing mechanism, and as a modern children's digital microscope, which a child can operate with one hand, examining two-dimensional opaque objects.
The controls are extremely simple and intuitive, even for a child. Using a USB cable, the microscope is powered by a computer and simultaneously transmits captured images and video in real time. The software that comes with the kit allows you to take photos and videos and thus document the results of observation.
