The National Geographic brand is known today in the most remote corners of our planet. The National Geographic Society has earned its fame thanks to its in-depth research of the surrounding world and the popularization of its discoveries and observations. Today, the National Geographic company cooperates with the best manufacturers of goods all over the world. The result of this cooperation is the development and production of devices that allow you to study the environment, as well as a number of products based on environmentally friendly technologies.
This model comes with a wide range of accessories, lenses and eyepieces needed to start observing, which allows you to immediately immerse yourself in such an interesting and exciting microworld.
The combination of two wide-angle eyepieces and three objectives makes it possible to obtain a magnification of 640x. The use of a Barlow lens in the microscope is unique for obtaining stepless (smooth) image zooming, due to which a maximum magnification of 1280x is achieved.
The monocular head, tilted at an angle of 45°, rotates 360°, allowing observation in any convenient position, as well as playing with the microscope for a group of children without moving the microscope in space. The inside of the head is painted with matte black paint, which prevents unwanted light reflections.
LED lamps provide illumination of the specimen with transmitted and reflected light. Transmitted light is used to observe transparent objects, and reflected light is used for opaque three-dimensional objects. Using two lamps simultaneously can be useful when observing translucent specimens. The brightness of the illumination and the direction of the light beam are controlled by a diaphragm with different diameters of holes.
The microscope is powered from a household AC power supply.
The list of accessories includes ready-made slides, which you can start examining immediately. The set also includes accessories for sample preparation, an incubator, and everything you need to grow zooplankton at home. Despite the fact that this device is more likely to be of interest to children and adolescents, all optical elements are made of glass, serious magnification will allow you to examine almost everything that is accessible to an adult biological microscope.
