Wide 20x2.125 (57-406) "Chevron" Bicycle Tire

Wide 20x2.125 (ETRTO 57-406) bicycle tire with a deep directional "Chevron" tread is designed for maximum grip and comfort. The high profile and maximum width (57 mm) turn the tire into an excellent shock absorber, smoothing out impacts on uneven surfaces. The "Chevron" tread with side lugs performs perfectly on wet asphalt as well as on dry or loose soil.

How does it differ from other 20-inch rim tires?

• Maximum width (2.125" / 57 mm): The widest option in the standard 20-inch tire range (wider than 1.75" and 2.00" models). Provides a maximum contact patch, high stability, and high load capacity.
• "Chevron" tread with a deep channel: Effectively channels water, slush, and light mud away from the wheel, preventing hydroplaning and skidding in corners.

What happens if I install 20x2.125 instead of a narrow one (20x1.75 / 20x2.00)?

• Pros: The bike will become much softer on bumps and will handle confidently on sandy sections, gravel, and forest trails. The risk of a "snake bite" (pinching the tube against the rim) when hitting a curb is reduced.
• Important to measure clearances! Before purchasing, make sure there is enough space in the fork, rear frame stays, and under the fenders. The inflated width of the tire is 57 mm. On some older bikes with narrow fenders, such a tire may rub against the guard or the chain.
