Description

Kowa YF II 8×30 is a classic wide-angle binocular with 8x magnification and a 30mm objective lens in the legendary Porro prismatic layout, which combines an elegant retro design with modern protection and illumination technologies. The device is designed for those who appreciate the unique depth and volume of the image of the classic Porro scheme, which is not available to any roof (Roof) binoculars of any price category. Due to the large distance between the lenses, the Porro design provides a pronounced three-dimensional effect during observation - objects literally "come out of the plane" and are perceived three-dimensionally, as in reality. A wide field of view of 131 m by 1000 m (7.5°) allows you to quickly find birds, animals and objects of observation, and the polycarbonate housing with full water protection and nitrogen filling makes the YF II a reliable companion in any weather. Kowa YF II 8×30 is access to Kowa's Japanese optical quality at the most affordable price among the manufacturer's entire line.

Kowa Company, Ltd. is one of the world's leading sports optics manufacturers. Founded in 1894 in Japan, the company began manufacturing binoculars in 1948 and spotting scopes in 1952, and has been synonymous with Japanese optical precision ever since. All Kowa binoculars and spotting scopes are designed and manufactured in Japan, with flagship models manufactured at its own factory in Soka, where each unit undergoes a series of rigorous quality tests. Kowa is the only sports optics manufacturer in the world to use Pure Fluorite Crystal lenses. This unique mineral completely eliminates chromatic aberration, providing maximum resolution, unsurpassed contrast, and natural color reproduction. Kowa's many years of experience are also successfully applied in related high-tech industries - in the production of medical optics and optics for machine vision systems. When you choose Kowa, you choose optics created with the spirit of a Japanese craftsman — to see the world as it really is.

What objects can be observed with this optical instrument:

  • Birdwatching for beginners and amateurs - a wide field of view of 131 m by 1000 m combined with 8x magnification allows you to quickly find and track birds in flight, on tree branches and on water bodies; the lightweight 475-gram body does not tire your hands during long observation sessions.
  • Travel and outdoor activities - a compact, lightweight body and full waterproofing make the YF II an ideal companion for traveling, on the beach, in the mountains, and on the water: the binoculars are not afraid of rain, splashes, or accidental drops into the water.
  • Sporting events and concerts — 8x magnification and a wide 7.5° viewing angle provide clear visibility from any sector of stadiums, amphitheaters and concert venues — without restrictions for spectators in the middle and far rows.
  • Natural landscapes and panoramic views - a wide viewing angle combined with the volume of the image characteristic of the Porro scheme allows you to enjoy mountain landscapes, forest areas, river valleys and sea coasts in a new way - objects are perceived three-dimensionally, with a pronounced perspective.
  • Marine and water observations - the sealed nitrogen-filled design makes the binoculars suitable for use on boats, yachts and near water bodies: observing ships, coastlines, lighthouses and waterfowl.
  • Wildlife observation - combined with a close focus of 5 m, the YF II is suitable for amateur animal observation in zoos, parks and reserves, as well as for the first steps in natural science for children and teenagers.
