The Bresser Erudit microscope line has its own characteristics that correspond to the entry-level professional microscopes. All microscopes in this series are supplied in convenient plastic cases. The manufacturer has taken care that the Bresser Erudit Basic Bino 40x-400x microscope provides good image quality, which is facilitated by wide-angle eyepieces, objectives that meet the DIN standard, LED illumination and an Abbe condenser. Ease of use is achieved by the particularly smooth movement of all moving parts and the provision of all standard settings inherent in microscopes of this level.

The binocular attachment, inclined at an angle of 30º, rotates freely and very smoothly in the horizontal plane and allows you to conduct research in any position without moving the device in space, observing a high-quality stereoscopic image. The interstellar distance and the diopter correction ring are also smoothly adjustable, allowing you to adjust the device to the user's characteristics.
The turret has mounting slots for three DIN standard objectives 4x, 10x and 40x (spring-loaded). The pair of eyepieces supplied in the kit is made according to the wide-angle scheme and provides a wide field of view. If it is necessary to obtain high magnifications, the microscope can be equipped with additional eyepieces and objectives.
The LED provides uniform illumination of the specimen with light with correct color rendering. The direction of illumination is regulated by an Abbe condenser with a numerical aperture of NA 1.25, which allows the optional use of objectives with a higher magnification (up to 100x). The condenser is centered at the factory, but has two mounting screws that allow for the necessary adjustment. If it is necessary to conduct observations in the dark field, a Bresser dry condenser or a Bresser dark field oil condenser can be installed.
The amount of light is regulated by an iris aperture diaphragm (allows smooth, stepless adjustment of the light intensity). Under the diaphragm is a filter holder for standard 32 mm diameter filters.
