Description

BRESSER Laser-Kollimator 31.7mm (1.25") is a professional laser collimator designed for precise alignment of Newtonian, Schmidt-Newton and Maksutov-Newton reflex telescopes. This accessory allows the astronomer to quickly and effortlessly align the optical axis of the telescope directly at the observation site, even in complete darkness. Thanks to its precise design, the collimator is tightly and without distortion fixed in the focuser with a diameter of 31.7 mm (1.25 inches), which ensures stability and accuracy of alignment. The matte projection surface reflects the laser beam in such a way that the observer can see the imprint from the side without looking into the focuser. This is especially convenient when working with large telescopes, where access to the eyepiece may be limited. The housing is made of black anodized aluminum, which guarantees strength, durability and resistance to mechanical damage. High quality workmanship and thoughtful design make The BRESSER Laser-Kollimator is an indispensable tool for every owner of a reflector telescope

Features:

  • Laser alignment — The collimator uses a laser beam to precisely align the optical axis of the telescope. The laser projects the beam through the focuser onto the telescope mirrors, allowing you to clearly see deviations and eliminate them with high precision. This method is much faster and more reliable compared to traditional eye alignment. The user gets the opportunity to adjust the telescope in a matter of minutes and get maximum image quality.

  • Matte projection surface — a special matte surface on the end of the collimator allows you to see the imprint of the laser beam from the side of the focuser. This is extremely convenient when working with large telescopes, where the eyepiece is located high or inconveniently. The observer can control the adjustment process without changing his position. Thanks to this, the adjustment process becomes fast, convenient and does not require outside help.

  • The 31.7 mm (1.25 inch) mounting diameter is the standard diameter for the most common focuser size on entry-level and mid-range reflector telescopes. The collimator is inserted into the focuser just like a regular eyepiece, without the need for adapters. The precision machining of the mounting diameter ensures a tight, distortion-free fit, which is essential for correct alignment. This also means that the collimator fits the vast majority of reflectors on the market.

  • Tight fit without distortions - precise machining of the housing ensures that the collimator sits in the focuser without play and deviations from the axis. Any distortion during adjustment leads to incorrect settings, so this feature is critically important. A high-quality fit allows you to get a reliable result the first time. The user can be sure that the laser beam moves exactly along the optical axis of the focuser.

  • Compatible with Newtonian, Schmidt-Newton, Maksutov-Newton telescopes - the collimator is specially designed for reflector telescopes with mirror systems that require regular adjustment. Newtonian, Schmidt-Newton and Maksutov-Newton telescopes have a complex mirror system that can lose precise alignment over time or after transportation. The BRESSER laser collimator allows you to restore the correct position of the mirrors quickly and efficiently. Owners of these types of telescopes receive a reliable tool for maintaining ...
