Description
The updated model of the Bresser Messier 10" Dobson telescope with a solar filter (4716425) belongs to the Diffraction limited optics class with a Strehl number of more than 0.8, which means that this telescope is practically free of aberrations. The Bresser Messier 10" Dobson telescope is an ideal Newtonian reflector for visual observations of Deep Sky objects. The ten-inch main mirror and stable alt-azimuth Dobson mount will provide excellent transmission of images of distant star clusters, nebulae, comets, comets. This telescope can be used by both novice observers and "advanced" users. The most frequently used node in a telescope is the focuser and the importance of the reliability of this node is difficult to overestimate. One of the company's latest developments implemented in this telescope is the new Hexafoc focuser with an internal diameter of 2.5". Thanks to this solution, it was possible to avoid possible vignetting (cropping) of the image when working with wide-field two-inch eyepieces. In addition, attention was paid to improving the smoothness of the movement and stability of the focusing system itself. The main mirror of the Bresser Messier 10" Dobson telescope tube has a parabolic shape and is made of borosilicate glass (H-PZ33), which is characterized by a low coefficient of thermal expansion, high mechanical hardness, and excellent chemical stability, due to which this telescope belongs to the Diffraction limited optics class. The lightweight alt-azimuth mount made of laminated chipboard is equipped with steel roller bearings in azimuth orientation and Teflon bearings in elevation orientation. The mount has steel fittings, which makes it easy to assemble/disassemble and has a long service life. The telescope tube is fixed to the mount using mounting rings, so it can be easily removed and rearranged to another, for example, equatorial mount for ease of astrophotography. The flagship line of Messier telescopes from the German manufacturer Bresser is distinguished by high assembly quality, precision fitting of optical elements and the use of only high-quality materials. There are no compromises in quality and price. All components, parts, as well as mirrors of the telescope are made with precision accuracy, which provides the best optical and operational characteristics in their class. Bresser Messier telescopes are well appreciated by experienced astronomy enthusiasts.
