Thanks to the unique identification code that the suitcase has, you can register on the Okoban website. The Okoban system is the first and currently only free for users search and registration system for found and lost items. The Okoban system was developed and supported jointly with the International Air Transport Association, the International Society for Aeronautical Telecommunications and the TSA . The Okoban system is also integrated into the WorldTracer passenger baggage information and search system, which is used by most airlines and airports in the world. The suitcase is equipped with a branded combination lock with the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) customs inspection function. Customs services, together with the American Transportation Security Administration, have received the absolute right to inspect any wheeled suitcase or bag that seems suspicious to them for security purposes. Transportation security agents are provided with special TSA keys, for which they are personally responsible. Thanks to the presence of the TSA function in the lock, after inspection your locks will remain intact and undamaged, unlike luggage without the TSA function.
The suitcase is equipped with four fully rotating paired wheels with the ability to independently rotate each wheel by 360 °. The system provides for uniform redistribution of the load on the wheel, which, in turn, contributes to smooth rolling and maneuverability of the suitcase, while applying a minimum of effort. The wheels are made of high-temperature thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). The material is stronger than plastic, flexible than silicone, and also has increased resistance to temperature changes. A distinctive feature of wheels made of TPU material is the reduction of noise to a minimum when rolling the suitcase on an uneven surface. Due to its resistance to abrasion, the wheel material is distinguished by a long service life.
The ergonomic system of the retractable telescopic handle with a push-button lock allows you to adjust the height of the handle for additional convenience and comfort of the user. The internal volume is divided by a partition into two compartments and has straps for securing things, as well as additional pockets.
To prevent unwanted scratches and scuffs, the CarryOn Skyhopper series uses a textured coating method on the surface of the suitcase body.
