EVCO EV3X21N7 Digital Temperature Controller for Refrigeration Equipment
The EVCO EV3X21N7 electronic parametric temperature controller (EV3 series) is designed for temperature control in medium-temperature commercial refrigeration equipment with static cooling (refrigerated cabinets, display cases, chest freezers, cold rooms). A distinctive feature of this model is its reduced housing depth, which facilitates installation in confined spaces.
Main Functions and Features:
- Cooling and passive defrost control: Controls compressor operation and performs defrosting by stopping the compressor (based on time intervals).
- 16A compressor power relay: The built-in relay allows for the direct connection of low and medium-power single-phase compressors without the need for an intermediate contactor.
- Compact housing: The controller is designed for a standard mounting cutout and is secured using plastic mounting clips (included).

16A 250V~; however, a clarifyingMAX 10Alabel is also present. For long-term reliability, connect compressors with a current consumption of no more than 10A directly. For higher loads, use a contactor. -
Terminal 3 Purpose: In the diagram, terminal 3 is labeled as
DI/q(Digital Input or a second sensor depending on configuration). However, the sensor input is factory-printed only as NTC, so the use of terminal 3 depends entirely on the software configuration parameter in the menu.
