The tent has an increased waterproofness of up to 8000 mm h. v. of the bottom, and the waterproofness of the outer tent is 3000 mm h. v., which is twice as high as the regulatory requirements and is quite enough to keep the tent dry inside during moderate rain. The Italian company Ferrino is one of the oldest companies in the world in the production of tents, sleeping bags and backpacks for climbers and experienced tourists. The company has its own unique research laboratory for testing materials and prototypes in extreme conditions located on one of the largest glaciers in Europe, Rifugio Quintino Sella (Italy; Monte Rosa).
