Description

On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the first, later legendary, Svalbard model, Ferrino has released the fourth generation of these tents under the name Svalbard 3.0. The Ferrino Svalbard 3.0 tent belongs to the Ferrino four-season tent series and is recommended for long hikes of medium and high difficulty as a compact three-person tent with spacious vestibules for equipment. The fact that this tent can be used in adverse weather conditions is indicated by the two-layer construction with an outer tent made of fabric with additional thermal insulation, a frame with four full support points and two points of intersection of the load-bearing arcs, an increased number of storm stays with double fixation, an increased thickness of the frame arcs and reinforced floor material, a well-thought-out ventilation system, a snow-protective skirt, and the color of the tent itself contributes to easier identification on any terrain. The presence of two separate entrances allows you to comfortably use the tent, practically without hindering each other. Setting up such a tent in good weather does not require fixing with pegs and stretchers. The waterproofness of the outer tent is 3000 mm H. and the floors are 8000 mm H., which further guarantees resistance to getting wet during prolonged rainfall of medium and high intensity. The tent cover has compression straps, which allows you to achieve very compact dimensions of the packed tent.
The Italian company Ferrino is one of the oldest companies in the world in the production of tents, sleeping bags and backpacks for climbers and experienced tourists. The company has its own unique research laboratory for testing materials and prototypes in extreme conditions located on one of the largest glaciers in Europe, Rifugio Quintino Sella (Italy; Monte Rosa). Ferrino trained the climber Reinhold Messner, supplied a modern tent, and also invested in research and development to become the first person to conquer all 14 highest peaks in the world. ''We were the first and remain the best'' - words that reflect the company's leadership in the world of outdoor products.
