In bright sunlight and conditions with multiple reflections from snow or water surfaces, the Honeycomb Sunshade is essential. The special honeycomb design disperses blinding rays passing through the optical system and prevents unwanted lens glints that could be spotted by game. Unlike traditional sunshades, which must be quite long to provide effective light protection, the Honeycomb Sunshade adds only 9 mm to the scope's length and does not disrupt the balance of the rifle and scope due to its minimal weight.
