Universal PTC-type start relay with 3 pins is designed for reliable starting and protective shutdown of compressors in household refrigerators, freezers, and chest freezers. It combines a PTC starting element and a bimetallic protection relay (overcurrent and overheat protection) in a single housing. It ensures a safe start for the compressor motor and protects it from burning out during voltage surges or rotor jamming.
