Description
MMG TW Capillary Thermostat for Water Heaters (Tmax = 71°C, 20A, Hungary)
The original MMG TW capillary control thermostat is designed to monitor and maintain the set water heating temperature in electric water heaters (boilers), storage water heaters, and other heating appliances. Manufactured in Hungary in accordance with strict European quality standards, it guarantees high switching accuracy and long service life.
Key Advantages and Features:
- High Load Capacity: A nominal operating current of 20A at 250V allows for reliable switching of powerful heating elements without the risk of contact burning.
- Precise Temperature Control: The operating range allows for smooth adjustment of the heating temperature with a maximum limit of 71°C.
- Original European Quality: Hungarian manufacturing ensures the use of reliable membranes and stable technical characteristics throughout the entire service life.
- Corrosion Resistance: The capillary tube and immersion sensor (bulb) are made of high-quality copper, providing high thermal conductivity and resistance to aggressive water environments.
Application and Compatibility:
- Purpose: Used as a primary or control thermostat in domestic and commercial storage water heaters (boilers), boiler equipment, and liquid heating systems.
- Compatibility: Suitable for boilers of various brands (Electrolux, Zanussi, AEG, Gorenje, Thermex, Fagor, etc.) that use MMG TW series capillary thermostats with a 95 mm bulb length and a total heating element power of up to 4.5–4.8 kW.

Technician's Tip: During installation of the capillary thermostat, strictly avoid sharp bends or flattening of the copper capillary tube, as this will disrupt the circulation of the expanding liquid inside and cause the part to fail. Ensure that the copper bulb (95 mm) is fully inserted into the flange sleeve and fits tightly against its walls for accurate temperature readings.
