The increased profile width (54 mm) ensures a soft ride, excellent shock absorption for small bumps, and stability on both asphalt and hardpack soil.
What is the difference from other tires for a 20-inch rim?
- Balance of width and comfort (2.00" / 54 mm): It is significantly wider than the 1.75" (40 mm) model, providing much better comfort when riding on uneven surfaces and paving stones. At the same time, it is slightly narrower than extreme 2.125" (57 mm) mud tires, ensuring it fits into standard forks and mudguards of both Soviet and modern bicycles.
- "Narodnaya" Tread: A universal smooth road pattern with a fine water-wicking design. It provides a maximum contact patch with the road, silent rolling on asphalt, and high rubber wear resistance.
What happens if you install 20x2.00 instead of another size?
- Instead of narrow 20x1.75: The bike will become noticeably softer, reducing vibration at the handlebars and saddle. However, before purchasing, check the clearance under the fenders (at least 5–7 mm of free space is required).
- Instead of wide 20x2.125: It will cover all comfort needs but will slightly benefit in weight and rolling performance on smooth roads.
