Original cast iron electric hot plate (EKCh) with a diameter of 145 mm and a power of 1000 W (1.0 kW) from the Electron brand is designed for installation in domestic electric cookers, hobs, and tabletop stoves. Made of heat-resistant high-strength cast iron with a special anti-corrosion coating. Internal heating coils are pressed into a high-quality ceramic insulator, which guarantees fast heating, uniform heat distribution, and long service life.

- High-quality cast iron and protective rim: The cast iron body is resistant to mechanical damage and temperature fluctuations, while the protective galvanized stainless steel rim prevents spilled liquids from getting under the stove's working panel.
- Universal connection: The terminal block with screw clamps for 4 contacts allows the hot plate to be connected to both smooth stepless power regulators (energy regulators) and standard 7-position step switches.

Signs of Electric Hot Plate Failure:
- The hot plate has stopped heating completely or only heats up at certain switch positions (burnout of one of the internal coils).
- The surface of the cast iron disk is cracked, swollen, or shows signs of deep corrosion.
- When the hot plate is turned on, the circuit breaker or RCD trips (insulation breakdown of the heating element to the body).
