The original emergency (safety) capillary thermostat IMIT STB (part no. 0020137098) is designed to protect Protherm "Medved" series floor-standing gas boilers from overheating. The device monitors the temperature of the heating medium in the heat exchanger and, in the event of an emergency exceeding the permissible limit (90–110°C), automatically opens the electrical control circuit, completely blocking the gas supply. Equipped with a manual reset button.
