Description

The new generation of the most popular Vortex Diamondback HD binoculars line is a generation of high-resolution images. Modern HD optics minimize distortion and achieve a realistic image. The ultra-durable ArmorTec coating protects the lenses from scratches, oils and dirt. High-quality BAK4 glass prisms with phase correction and dielectric coating contribute to stunning detail. All optics are now placed in a durable and lightweight aluminum alloy case. The performance of the Vortex Diamondback HD binoculars significantly outweighs their cost. It is also worth noting the new binocular package, where the usual bag has been replaced by the proprietary GlassPak case harness shoulder mounting system for transportation and storage, which allows you to really conveniently transport the binoculars and instantly use them when you need them. The successful design of the binoculars has remained unchanged. They still have a modern top hinge bridge (Top Hinge). The lightweight ergonomic magnesium body of the binoculars is equipped with a protective rubber coating, waterproof and filled with argon, which prevents the optics from fogging up during sudden changes in temperature. The binoculars body is compact, lightweight, and most importantly, convenient for gripping with your fingers. The field of view of the Diamondback HD 10x50 model has increased significantly, while the minimum focusing distance allows you to literally observe even what is happening at a distance of two meters. It can be said without a doubt that these binoculars are significantly superior to competitors in their class.

  • High Definition Optics The use of optical elements made of special grades of glass with strictly defined refractive indices has made it possible to optimize geometric and chromatic aberrations, and achieve exceptionally high resolution and image quality, inaccessible to most binoculars with achromatic lenses.
  • ArmorTek Ultra-durable coating provides lens protection from scratches, oils, and dirt.
  • Dielectric Prism Coatings Dielectric multilayer prism coatings provide the highest reflectance value compared to metallic coatings. This significantly improves light transmission, resulting in a sharp, bright image with the most accurate color.
  • Phase Correction A special phase-controlling coating that is applied to one of the surfaces of the prism rotating system in the form of the thinnest layers. Phase correction is necessary exclusively for the Roof optical system, since, passing through such a prism, the light flux is decomposed into two parallel beams of light waves, an out-of-phase shift of half the light wavelength occurs, which leads to a decrease in image resolution, as well as a decrease in contrast. Phase Correction corrects this displacement. As a result, the image is as clear and contrasty as possible. The cost of such a coating is very high, and the application process requires precision accuracy, so only well-known optics manufacturers can afford such a technological complication. Today, the design of a modern high-quality optical device of the Roof prism system is practically unthinkable without a phase-correcting coating.
  • Aluminum Body Aluminum alloy provides binoculars with relatively low weight and high strength. Aluminum binocular bodies are 200% stronger than traditionally used polycarbonate, and in terms of strength per unit weight, they are not inferior to steel. The hardness of the aluminum alloys used is sufficient so that when the binoculars fall from a height of 1-2 meters, the body does not receive significant damage that would affect the optical characteristics of the binoculars. Optics in such bodies will serve for the longest possible time.
