The Vortex SPARC Solar Red Dot 2MOA (SPC-404) red dot sight has one of the best battery life among solar-powered red dot sights. With one of the largest lenses in the Micro class, you’ll also get an incredibly sharp image. The Vortex SPARC Solar uses the sun’s energy to provide up to 150,000 hours of battery life. Auto D-TEC™ technology automatically switches between solar and battery power depending on ambient light conditions, allowing the user to focus on the situation, not the battery. The primary power source is the solar battery, and the secondary battery is only connected when there is insufficient light, allowing shooters to always have the desired brightness setting instead of automatic adjustment. The auto-off function is activated after 14 hours of inactivity, as the operating time is incredibly long, allowing you to not turn off the device in critical situations. The motion sensor automatically activates the sight’s mark.

Waterproof - means that the optics are sealed with an O-ring and are protected from moisture penetration according to the international class IPX7.
