Description
Brass Pressure Relief Safety Valve 3 Bar (3/4" Female × 3/4" Female)
3 Bar spring-loaded pressure relief safety valve — this is a key element of the safety group, designed to protect closed heating systems, water heaters, indirect boilers, and heating boilers from destruction due to a critical increase in coolant pressure. When the 3 bar threshold is exceeded, the internal spring-loaded gate automatically opens and discharges the excess volume of liquid into the atmosphere or a drain line, preventing the rupture of the tank, pipelines, and heat exchangers.
Key Advantages and Features:
- Hot-pressed brass body: Provides high mechanical strength, resistance to water hammer, temperature fluctuations, and zinc leaching during long-term contact with hot water.
- Precise spring calibration: A rigid factory setting for an opening pressure of 3.0 Bar guarantees reliable operation without delays or leaks during normal operation.
- Manual override rotary handle: The upper red ribbed plastic cap allows for manual forced opening of the valve for regular functional testing and cleaning the seat from scale.
- EPDM elastomer seal: Ensures 100% tightness of the unit at operating pressure up to the moment of emergency discharge.
Compatibility and Application Area:
- Heating boilers: Wall-mounted and floor-standing gas, electric, and solid fuel boilers with a power of up to 50 kW (Bosch, Protherm, Vaillant, Viessmann, Baxi, Ferroli, Ariston, Danko, Mayak, Tenko, etc.).
- Water heating equipment: Indirect heating boilers, storage tanks (thermal accumulators), storage electric water heaters with a circuit operating pressure of up to 3 bar.
- Piping systems: Closed gravity and circulation systems for radiator heating and underfloor heating.

- Brass safety valve 3 Bar 3/4" — 1 pc.
Pro tip: Install the valve at the highest point of the boiler or on the supply line in close proximity to the heat generator (before the first shut-off valve). The flow direction must strictly correspond to the arrow on the brass body. Lead the discharge line from the side fitting into the sewer through a transparent funnel with an air gap to visually monitor leaks. Every 2–3 months, turn the red cap to flush the valve seat of hardness salts and prevent the disc from sticking.
