The Bresser Erudit microscope line has characteristics that correspond to the level of professional microscopes. Biological microscopes of this series are supplied in convenient plastic cases. The manufacturer has taken care that the Bresser Erudit Basic Mono 40x-400x microscope with smartphone adapter + case (5102100) provides good image quality, which is facilitated by a wide-angle eyepiece, objectives that meet the DIN standard, LED illumination and an Abbe condenser. Ease of use is achieved by the particularly smooth movement of all moving parts and the provision of all standard settings inherent in microscopes of this level. The monocular attachment, tilted at an angle of 45º, rotates freely and very smoothly in the horizontal plane and allows you to conduct research in any position without moving the device in space, observing high-quality images. The turret has mounting slots for three DIN 4x, 10x and 40x objectives (spring-loaded). The eyepiece supplied is a wide-angle design and provides a wide field of view. If high magnifications are required, the microscope can be equipped with additional eyepieces and objectives. The LED provides uniform illumination of the specimen with light with correct color rendering. The direction of illumination is regulated by an Abbe condenser with a numerical aperture of NA 1.25, which allows the optional use of objectives with a higher magnification (up to 100x). The condenser is centered at the factory, but has two mounting screws that allow for the necessary adjustment. If dark field observations are required, a Bresser dry condenser or a Bresser dark field oil condenser can be installed. The amount of light is regulated by the iris aperture diaphragm (allows smooth, stepless adjustment of the illumination intensity). Under the diaphragm is a filter holder for filters of standard diameter 32 mm. A movable stage with a specimen guide, micrometric fine and coarse adjustment, and the ability to attach two samples simultaneously, ensures the most accurate positioning of the observation object under the microscope objective and its movement in the plane. The microscope is powered by replaceable batteries of the most common size AA (Alcaline) 1.5 V (replacement of AA Ni-Mg 1.2 V batteries is allowed. Thus, the microscope can be used in the field without being tied to an AC power supply. The microscope is supplied in a personal plastic case. The device and accessories are placed in slots cut out of the foam base. For an easy start of observations, the microscope comes with a set of ready-made slides, a slide and a cover glass. In addition, the package includes an adapter for a smartphone (tablet). The adapter is attached to the microscope tube and allows you to take photos and videos with the main or front camera of the gadget. The smooth back of the smartphone is securely attached using many suction cups of the adapter (in the case of a grooved back surface of the smartphone, it is recommended to use the front camera).
