Description

Ferrino Rift 2 is a lightweight two-person tent for three-season trekking with a spacious interior and excellent ventilation. The dome structure on a duralumin frame with a transverse arc (ridge pole) provides stability, low weight and increased living space. The inner tent is made entirely of mosquito netting together with the "Camera Air" system, which guarantees intensive ventilation and minimal condensation. The outer tent Polyester Honey 70D with a water resistance of 2000 mm and a bottom with a water resistance of 2500 mm and taped seams reliably protect against rain and moisture. Two entrances with vestibules on both sides provide convenient access and space for equipment. With a low weight (from 2 kg), the Rift 2 is easy to carry, which makes it optimal for trekking, cycling and light hiking, where every gram counts.
About the Ferrino brand
The Italian company Ferrino, founded in 1870 in Turin, is one of the oldest outdoor equipment companies in the world, producing tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, mats and technical clothing for climbers, tourists and outdoor enthusiasts. For more than a century and a half, the brand has gained a reputation as a benchmark for quality: products are developed in collaboration with professional climbers and tested in real extreme conditions in its own high-altitude laboratory HighLab on Monte Rosa near the Rifugio Quintino Sella shelter (3585 m), which has been operating since 1994. The reliability of Ferrino equipment has been confirmed not only by high-profile expeditions (the brand's tents were once used by the legendary Reinhold Messner), but also by many years of cooperation with civil protection services, the Red Cross and humanitarian missions. Each model undergoes careful control of materials and design, which ensures durability and reliable protection in any weather conditions. βWe were the first and we remain the bestβ - these words reflect the company's leadership in the world of outdoor products.
Features
- Dome structure with duralumin frame - a dome shape on duralumin arches creates a stable self-supporting structure with low weight and good wind resistance. The frame is supplemented with a transverse arch (ridge pole), which raises the ceiling and expands the usable living space. This geometry combines compactness in transportation with comfort inside.
- Color-coded 7001 T6 aluminum arches β arches are made of hardened 7001 T6 aluminum alloy β light, strong and elastic, which holds its shape better than fiberglass under load and weighs less. Color-coded immediately tells you which arch goes where, speeding up installation. The alloy does not rust and remains elastic over a wide temperature range.
- Mosquito net inner tent - the fully mesh inner tent provides maximum ventilation and minimizes condensation, which is especially valuable in warm and humid weather. On a clear night, with the outer tent removed, you can observe the stars through the net. At the same time, the fine mesh provides reliable protection against insects.
