Original dual-zone (dual-circuit) infrared Hi-Light heating element Heatwell KAWAI (part numbers 191210 / 191209 / 21.191210) is designed for installation in electric and combined glass-ceramic cooktops. The model is equipped with two independent heating circuits with a total power of 1700 W (inner small circle 700 W for small cookware and outer expansion circuit up to 1700 W for large pans and pots). The high-speed corrugated nichrome ribbon reaches its operating temperature within 3–5 seconds. The unit features a built-in rod thermostat limiter with 5 connection pins, which prevents the glass-ceramic surface from overheating and controls the residual heat light indication ("H").

- Convenient 5-pin terminal block: The terminal group with marked leads (1, 2, 3 on the heating element terminal strip + 2 pins on the thermostat) ensures quick connection with standard 6.3 mm Faston terminals.
