Original Hi-Light fast-heating ribbon heating element (model Heatwell KAWAI LSA126N) with 1700W power for installation in electric and combined hobs with a glass-ceramic worktop. The design consists of a thermal insulation bowl made of pressed vermiculite, with an open corrugated resistive ribbon placed in its grooves, providing almost instantaneous heating (within 3–5 seconds). The burner is equipped with a standard rod thermostat-limiter, which protects the glass-ceramic from thermal shock and overheating, and also switches the residual heat indicator circuit ("H").
