Description
The set, which includes twelve specially prepared slides with samples of insects, integumentary tissues of birds and fish, thin sections of vegetables and other plants for observation under a microscope, will be an excellent addition to a children's microscope. The set is a necessary manual for a school biology class, since the study of all included samples is provided for by the school curriculum. All samples are selected in such a way that a biological microscope with a maximum magnification of 400 times is enough for the study. No less, and perhaps more interesting, will be the observation of these slides in stereoscopic microscopes with a magnification of 20-40 times.
The sample sections are securely fixed not on a glass, but on a plastic base under a transparent film, and the corners of the slides are rounded. Thus, the possibility of accidental cuts, even with careless use, is excluded. The slides have a size of 60x20 mm.
