The original single-phase capillary thermostat Tecasa NT-233 AT is designed to automatically maintain a set temperature in domestic and industrial heating equipment within the range of +60 °C to +190 °C. The device operates on the principle of volumetric expansion of a liquid filler inside a remote metal probe: when heated to the set value, the liquid pressure is transmitted through a flexible capillary tube to the membrane unit, opening the power electrical contacts, which protects the equipment from overheating and saves energy.
