Waterproof - means that the optics are sealed with an O-ring and are protected from moisture penetration according to the international class IPX7. Fogproof - means that the inside of the case is filled with an inert gas, which eliminates the condensation of moisture on the internal surfaces during temperature changes. The air is removed from the device and replaced with an inert gas (in this case, nitrogen), which does not contain water vapor and does not condense.

Aluminum binocular bodies are 200% stronger than traditionally used polycarbonate, and in terms of strength per unit weight, they are not inferior to steel.
