The updated model of the Vortex Razor HD 4000 GeoBallistics® rangefinder (LRF-252-EU) now has a built-in GeoBallistics® ballistic calculator. Like any other optical device in this series, the Vortex Razor HD 4000 GeoBallistics (LRF-252) rangefinder has exceptionally better characteristics. The rangefinder is an important companion for an extreme hunter, archer and shooter at extremely long distances. The device allows you to measure distances up to 3658 meters (4000 yards) and angles up to 70° with high accuracy even in adverse weather conditions, while the minimum measurement distance is only 4 meters. Two measurement modes, three targeting modes and a scan mode will satisfy the most demanding users.
What objects can be observed with this optical instrument:
- Hunting Targets: Deer and ungulates — accurate distance measurement up to 2,200 yards (2,012 m) for confident shooting at medium to long distances in the forest and open terrain.
- Trees and natural landmarks — measuring range up to 2,500 yards (2,286 m), allowing you to accurately determine your position relative to forest stands, forest edges, and natural shelters.
- Long-range and sports shooting: Steel targets and reflective targets — maximum measurement range up to 4,000 yards (3,657 m) with an accuracy of 0.5 yards per 100 yards for precision long-range shooting in competitions or training.
- Ballistic targets at shooting ranges - ELR (Extended Laser Range) mode provides stable and repeatable performance even in adverse atmospheric conditions.
- Tactical and military applications: Detect and determine the distance to moving objects - First and Last modes allow you to accurately select targets in the foreground or background even in complex environments with obstacles.
- Observation in mountainous terrain - the HCD angle compensation function with a range of +/- 89° allows you to accurately measure the true horizontal distance when shooting up or down a slope, which is critically important for snipers and fire adjusters.
