The new Vortex Viper PST Gen II 1-6x24 SFP VMR-2 MOA IR (PST-1605) scope was created practically from scratch. The maximum magnification has been increased to 6x, the field of view has been increased, the correction drums have become low-profile and have received protective covers, the objective is equipped with a small integrated hood, to which a 54 mm screw-on hood has been added, the backlight rheostat has been moved to a more convenient position, and the reticle has become easy to read and convenient for corrections. Extra-low dispersion glass lenses provide improved color rendering and high image resolution. The refractive index of extra-low dispersion glass depends little on the frequency of light (on the spectrum). All light waves are refracted by the same angle. Waterproof - means that the optics are sealed with O-rings and protected from moisture penetration according to the international class IPX7 .
