Waterproof - means that the optics are sealed with a high-impact O-ring and are protected against penetration by water to the international class IPX7. Fogproof means that the middle of the housing is filled with inert gas, which prevents condensation of moisture on the internal surfaces due to temperature changes. As a result, the optics do not fog up in the middle, and there is also no corrosion of materials due to the infusion of moisture.
