Monocular with a long-range reticle Vortex Recon R/T 15x50 (RT155) is literally a unique optical device of the highest brightness, specializing for tactical tasks and has no analogues on the market. The monocular has a large lens made of low-disperse glass with hydrophobic, smudge-resistant coatings, all optical surfaces are coated with special wide-smooth spherical coatings, and a phase-regulating coating is applied to the prism bring this device up to premium class optics. The ergonomics of the monocular are carefully thought out and allow you to most effectively and manually adjust the device and trim it in advance. The patented distance mesh allows you to precisely measure the size and size of objects. The monocular is reliably protected from moisture penetration, fogging and mechanical damage. The Picatinny rail allows you to install a red dot sight on the monocular, if necessary.
The design of the monocular is based on patented solutions. Thus, the Vortex company patented the design of an ergonomic monocular body (US Patent D603,436S), a multi-point variable mounting system for a clip, belt, tripod and aiming bar (US Patent 8,116,015) and a high-voltage reticle (US Patent 7,877,886).

A special recommendation from the National Tactical Training Association of America (NTOA) saw the Recon XD 15x50 R/T monocular compared to similar models of other cameras.
Lenses with extra-low dispersion ensure improved color rendering and high image separation. The fracture coefficient of low-disperse glass is slightly dependent on the light frequency (spectrum). All the light quills break by the same amount of kut. The stagnation of these glasses in the lens design makes it possible to practically avoid such unacceptable aberrations as chromatism. The profitability of such a warehouse is very high, due to which only manufacturers of high-tech optics stagnate their premium-class products.
The patented multi-spherical anti-glare coating of Vortex XR lenses allows for maximum light transmission and image clarity.
ArmorTek superior coating will protect lenses from smudges, oils and debris. 
Phase Correction A special phase-correcting coating that is applied to one surface of the prism wrapping system in the appearance of very thin balls. Phase correction is also necessary for the Roof optical system; fragments passing through such a prism, the light flow is decomposed into two parallel beams of light fibers, and the phase displacement occurs by half the amount light color, which leads to a change in the separation of the image, as well as a decrease in contrast. Phase Correction corrects the error. As a result, the image is as clear and contrasting as possible. The quality of such a coating is very high, and the application process requires precision precision, which is so technologically advanced that optics manufacturers can afford it. Today, without a phase-correcting coating, the design of a high-viscosity optical device of the Roof prism system is practically inconceivable.
Waterproof means that the optics are sealed with a high-impact O-ring and are protected against penetration by water to the international class IPX7. Being enclosed in a row of 30 lengths to a depth of 1 meter does not affect the equipment of the smallest capacity and does not affect its functionality. Such options are not scary in any weather mind. 
Fogproof - means that the middle of the housing is filled with inert gas, which prevents condensation of moisture on the internal surfaces due to temperature changes. As a result, the optics do not fog up in the middle, and there is also no corrosion of materials due to the infusion of moisture. The air is removed from the device and replaced with an inert gas (in this case argon), which does not contain water vapor in its storage and does not condense.
