Description

The updated Bresser Nautic 7x50 Gen II Compass R/T binoculars (1866840) are second-generation marine binoculars designed specifically for sailors, yachtsmen and water sports enthusiasts who need reliable optics in the toughest conditions. The 7x magnification combined with a large 50 mm objective lens provides an extremely bright and clear image even in low light conditions - at dawn, dusk or in sea fog. The design meets the IPX7 protection standard, which means complete immersion in water up to 1 meter, and nitrogen filling of the housing reliably prevents fogging of the optics from the inside. The built-in illuminated compass and rangefinder reticle turn these binoculars into a full-fledged navigation tool, allowing you to determine distances and directions directly during observation. The polycarbonate body with rubber armoring can withstand bumps and drops on deck, while the bright yellow accent and buoyant design ensure that the binoculars will not get lost even after falling overboard. The wide field of view of 136 m at a distance of 1000 m makes it easy to track moving targets and navigate the open sea. These binoculars are the perfect choice for anyone who values reliability, functionality and safety on the water.

What objects can be observed with this optical instrument:

  • Marine navigation and shipping — determining the course of other vessels, lighthouses, buoys, navigation marks and coastal landmarks at a distance; reading the names and side numbers of vessels for identification; estimating the distance to dangerous objects using the built-in rangefinder grid.
  • Coastline and coastal facilities - monitoring port infrastructure, piers, lighthouses, rocks and shoals when entering unfamiliar harbors; monitoring beaches, bays and coastal structures while yachting or motorboating.
  • Water sports and active recreation - tracking surfers, wakeboarders, sailors and water skiers; observing sailing and rowing competitions from the shore or from a referee's boat; monitoring the safety of participants in water activities.
  • Birds and marine fauna - observation of seabirds (gulls, terns, pelicans, cormorants) in flight and on the water; detection of whales, dolphins, seals and other marine mammals on the water surface; monitoring fishing areas for bird activity.
  • Search and rescue operations — detecting people or objects in water at a considerable distance thanks to a wide field of view; rapid orientation in the terrain in conditions of limited visibility; coordination of rescuers' actions using compass data.
  • Astronomical observations - viewing the moon, bright planets (Jupiter with its largest satellites, Venus, Mars) and wide star fields; observing meteor showers and bright nebulae in open horizon conditions at sea.

Features:

  • Porro optical scheme - a classic Porro prism scheme with BaK-4 prisms (barium-crown glass) provides maximum light transmission and minimal aberrations. The distance between the lenses is greater than the distance between the eyepieces, which gives a natural stereoscopic effect...
