Description
The Bresser Pluto II 114/500 EQ3 telescope provides unquestionably high image quality in a very compact size. The high light transmission makes it possible to observe distant dim objects, and the equatorial mount will allow you to follow them without losing sight of them. The main differences from the previous version are a reinforced tripod, carbon tube trim and a smartphone camera adapter. Using the smartphone adapter that comes with the telescope, it is easy to photograph observations on your smartphone camera. Optionally, the telescope can be connected to a PC eyepiece for recording and editing images and videos of the night sky.
The Bresser Pluto II 114/500 EQ3 Newtonian reflector is best suited for people who like to travel without forgetting their telescope at home. With a slight decrease in maximum magnification, more compact dimensions and a large aperture of 1:4.4 have been achieved. It is the latter parameter that provides the clarity and contrast of the image, characteristic of more expensive and bulky models. You will be able to distinguish clearer contours of craters on the Moon with a diameter of up to 5 km, the polar caps of Mars, the Cassini gap in the rings of Saturn, faint stars (up to 12.4 magnitudes). Uranus and Neptune will already be in the form of disks. Nebulae around the constellations Lyra and Orion, and more distant ones, located up to thousands of light years from Earth, will become available to your eye in the form of bright, quite contrasting spots.
The LED viewfinder with dot guidance makes it much easier to aim the device at an object of interest, and the equatorial mount of the telescope with fine movement mechanisms will allow you to easily observe the daily movement of objects across the sky. The Barlow lens is designed to triple the magnification of the telescope if necessary.
The package includes an adapter for a smartphone (tablet). The adapter is attached to the selected eyepiece and allows you to take photos and videos with the main or front camera of the gadget. The smooth back of the smartphone is securely attached using the adapter's many suction cups (in the case of a grooved back surface of the smartphone, it is recommended to use the front camera).
It is often impossible to achieve the desired visibility of space objects in conditions of city lights and smog. The compact dimensions of the tube will simplify transportation as much as possible, which will provide unforgettable impressions of space observations outside your home. Bresser will open new worlds.
What space objects can be observed with this telescope:
Sun: Solar disk - when using a complete solar filter, the full disk of the Sun is visible with clearly visible sunspots and their groups; Sunspots - the structure of large spots can be distinguished: a dark core (umbra) and a lighter peripheral zone (penumbra); Flare fields - brighter areas around groups of spots, indicating increased activity.
Moon: Craters - hundreds of craters of various sizes are clearly visible, including details of the ridges and central hills of large formations (Tycho, Copernicus, Clavius); Lunar seas - dark flat basalt formations (Sea of Tranquility, Sea of Crisis, Ocean of Storms) with distinct boundaries; Mountain ranges - the Apennine Range, the Carpathians and other mountain systems with shadow relief along the terminator; Valleys and furrows - for example, the Valley of the Alps and other linear structures of the lunar surface; Emission rays - a system of bright bands around young craters, best visible at full moon.
Planets: Venus — phases of Venus (crescent, quarter, gibbous), change in angular size depending on position...
