The Bresser Erudit DLX 20x-1280x microscope is a monocular biological microscope designed for teaching, studying biological preparations and studying the microworld in educational and home settings. 360° Rotatable Head — The microscope’s optical head rotates a full 360 degrees around its vertical axis. Set of three objectives (4x, 10x, 40x) - the microscope is equipped with a turret with three objectives of different magnification. 5x and 16x eyepieces — comes with two interchangeable eyepieces — 5x and 16x, which in combination with three lenses (4x, 10x, 40x) provide different magnification levels in the range from 20x to 1280x. Additionally, the 2x Barlow Zoom lens allows you to continuously enlarge the image between fixed values without changing the eyepiece manually.
Coaxial focusing system — the focusing mechanism is implemented according to the coaxial principle, where the coarse and fine adjustment knobs are located on the same axis. Coarse focusing is used to quickly bring the stage to the desired level, and fine focusing is used to precisely adjust the image sharpness. This approach is the standard for high-quality microscopes and significantly simplifies work with preparations at high magnifications.
Coarse focusing — the macrometric screw allows you to quickly move the stage in the vertical direction for approximate focusing. This reduces the time spent searching for the focal plane, especially when changing objectives. Coarse focusing is the first step when working with any new specimen.
